This place has a lot of charm. I enjoyed the historical ambiance and the cozy feel of the room. The Inspiration Pointe Room had a lovely view of the prairie, perfect for writing or relaxing. Breakfast was delicious with homemade biscuits and gravy, along with fresh fruit. Walking around the property felt peaceful, especially during sunset. Lisa, the housekeeper, gave a fascinating tour, sharing stories behind the antiques and the house's history. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The heating in the room was not as effective as it could have been. A bit cool during the night made it a little uncomfortable. Some amenities could use upgrading—better furniture would enhance the experience. Overall, it's a unique place to stay, especially for those looking for a quiet retreat.

The historic farmhouse offers a charming escape with plenty of character, and the surrounding nature made for a peaceful getaway. Breakfast was delicious and filling, enhancing the experience. However, it’s more rustic than luxurious, which may not suit everyone’s preferences. Overall, a lovely place to unwind.

Just a top selection for a lightning stop in Walton with great value for the money. We enjoyed a fun ice cream social hosted by the owners which was a nice surprise. Don't forget to plan for some time to hike around the lake.

Food here is an absolute delight! I savored Maureen's breakfast featuring fresh ingredients that hit the spot—those cinnamon rolls? Pure magic! The outdoor dining area is serene, making every meal feel like a treat. Also, the cozy atmosphere is perfect for unwinding after a day of culinary adventures with friends.
The Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty, but honestly, who needs the internet when the charm of this place and the delightful food can keep you so entertained?

I had an awesome time with my friends at this historic farmhouse! We played a round at Pine Hills Golf Course and learned about the Leavitt House's fascinating history. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. If you’re looking for a nostalgic getaway, this is a great choice!
We only attended a melodrama show and not staying at the inn was a bit disappointing since I wanted to experience more of the place.

Perfect weekend for a wedding
My son and daughter-in-law booked this spot for their wedding and it was seriously amazing! The nature vibes were on point with trees, a pond, and lots of room to chill. The A/C was awesome since it was super hot. Home-made breakfasts were delish too. The only bummer? A bit of noise from nearby roads.

The King Room Spa Bath was really comfy and super clean. The bed was plush and I loved having a private bath to relax in. There was nothing to complain about, honestly. It felt cozy and welcoming, perfect for a weekend escape. The kitchen was a nice touch, too, if you like cooking your own meals. A great place to chill out!

The cabin was spacious and charmingly furnished, making it a comfortable stay after the wedding celebrations. Breakfast at the main house featured delightful local fish, which was a highlight. However, the initial mix-up regarding parking was awkward, as the housekeeper was still in the cabin when we arrived. This led to a mild annoyance from the owner as we maneuvered our cars. Despite that hiccup, everything ultimately fell into place nicely.
